The Stedfast Band was founded in 1951, from the Boys' Brigade in the Dun Laoghaire area. Nowadays Their membership is open to all, and the band in non-denominational and has members of all ages. They rehearse every Tuesday evening from 8-10pm in Blackrock Methodist Church, with the Training Band running beforehand from 6.30-7.30pm. They play at a variety of events and are always interested in enquiries.
