The Shades are a young 5 piece rock'n'roll/blues band from West Dublin/Kildare. Formed in late 2013, They started gigging around the country over the course of 2014. They play everything from original blues songs with a rock'n'roll twist, to cool slow paced songs with clever melodies. Their main influences include The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Jam, The Who, Oasis, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Paul Weller, The Stone Roses, Dr. Feelgood, etc.
