At 16, Sonny began busking on the streets of Galway, before busking all across Europe. Raised on Springsteen and influenced by artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov, her music is shaped by nature, poetry, and storytelling. In 2020, she crowdfunded her debut EP ‘Phoebe’ and sold out her debut headline show. Sonny has since toured Ireland and Germany, opening for Mick Flannery and sharing stages with Liam Ó Maonlaí. In an attic by the sea, she recorded her debut album. The first single from which is set for release in November 2024. Sonny is currently based between Ireland and Berlin.
