Slow Skies is the project of Irish singer/ songwriter Karen Sheridan. Having met producer Conal Herron while studying music in London, the pair have since collaborated on a string of EP’s, their slow burning ambient folk sound blends sparse production and pop tinged melodies, striking a balance between the delicate and forceful. Having had a busy 2014 supporting James Vincent McMorrow, St Vincent and Cat Power and releasing the EP ‘Keepsake’, 2015 has been a year of quiet reflection and writing songs for Slow Skies eagerly anticipated debut album.
