Rough Sunday are the songrwiting duo Amhlaoibh McSweeney & Diarmuid Wolfe, two young musicians from the West Cork Gaeltacht. Their music of course does all the talking, but a background check reveals that they have achieved a local reputation as quick-witted, sensitive music-makers and wordsmiths, using nothing but their naturally-accented voices and their two acoustic guitars. Their music is a thesis of their lives thus far, an exploration and explosion of youth, escapism and aspiration, the manifesto of two promising talents doing the simple things right.
