Ravara Pipe Band come from Ballygowan in County Down, Northern Ireland and having been on the Pipe Band Competition scene for many decades, have earned the reputation of being one of Ireland and the UK's most respected pipe bands. The bands Roster boasts an impressive 35+ membership and in 2012 Ravara earned the prestigious Grade 1 title for just the 3rd time in its history. Under the direction of Pipe Major Samuel Connolly and Drum Sergeant Neil Ussher, the band continues to strive forward and achieve success to add to its already impressive collection.
