Kevin Fowley is a Franco-Irish finger-picker, word-mumbler, singer-songwriter and hyphen-enthusiast. Having developed a style of guitar playing influenced and informed by folk music, he began performing as a solo act in 2017. During a hiccuping of appearances at Irish festivals, including the Arbutus Yarns stage at Body & Soul, and a number of performances in his native Dublin, Fowley impressed listeners with his dexterous guitar style and literary lyrics that tiptoe along the line between poetry and prose, inciting comparisons to Nick Drake and John Martyn.
