John Keogh and Julien Colarossi met when they both studied in the jazz faculty Newpark Music Centre in 2009. Although they did not share the same classes, they quickly became aware of each others musicianship and composition ability and they developed a mutual respect for each others talents. However it would be a couple of years after graduation and well into their busy careers that they would find the time and inspiration to work together and develop a repertoire.
