Jack Rua is a pop artist from Dublin, Ireland. Jack started writing music at the age of 15, first for a rock band and then as a soloist. In 2013 he renamed himself Jackal and, backed by an 8 piece band, made an impression on the Dublin music scene with a theatrical and energetic stage show that saw him perform at venues such as Whelans, the Academy, the Mercantile and Vicar Street. In 2016 he released his debut single under that name, “Groundhog Day”, which peaked inside the Irish iTunes Top 50.
