Ignition have been writing and performing together since 2014. Their diverse sound is brought about by a variety of musical interests, including infectious contemporary pop music, lyric-based folk and the energetic rock-guitar sound of the eighties. With a vested interest in authenticity and emotive songwriting, the band should appeal to fans of catchy hooks as well as powerful ballads. Having built up a steady fanbase in their first few years through gigs at such venues as Campbell's Tavern and The Blackbox Theatre.
