Slacke is a 4 piece band from Cavan town consisting of Daragh Slacke, Josh McClory, Liam McCabe, and Barry Fitzgerald. Darragh Slacke is a songsmith from Cavan town. A working musician who has played in a myriad of bands down through the years from funk/rock with Ian I Brow to trad Irish with balladeer group Whiskey You're The Divil. As a solo performer he released his first album Songs in the key of Slacke in 2011 documenting his African travels. Another group of note he's involved with are 8 piece funk/soul/craic group Blutack & The Greenhorns, who've had a residency at Cork Jazz Festival for the past 5 years.
