Cór Cois Abhann ('the Choir by the River') was founded in 1990 and draws its membership from all parts of Cork city. The choir has competed at local, national and international festivals and has performed large scale works in association with many well known choirs over the years. Cór Cois Abhann enjoys travelling abroad and has performed in Budapest 2007, Rome 2009 and more recently in Cannes 2011.
