Irish oboist Ben Gannon made his solo debut playing the Marcello oboe concerto with the New York Concerti Sinfonietta in Carnegie Hall in May 2017. Recent performances include Elgar’s Enigma variations conducted by Leonard Slatkin with the RTE NSO, and lunch time concerts with the RTE CO. Ben enjoys teaching the oboe privately in his home Fairview/Clontarf. Arrangements can be made to travel to students homes. Ben makes and adjusts oboe reeds that are popular with his students.
