Barry Jay Hughes is an Irish singer songwriter. In 2015 he released his debut EP "This Way Up" and began touring and bringing his unique blend of folk and rock to audiences around Ireland. He has been influenced by Glen Hansard, Wallis Bird, Eddie Vedder, Ryan Sheridan Pink Floyd, Jack Lukeman, Alanis Morissette, Love, Loss, Nature, Architecture, Astronomy. April 2016 saw the release of his critically acclaimed second EP "Tried & Treasured" which included collaborations with musicians from many different musical backgrounds; jazz, traditional and classical to name a few.
