Imagine what Frank Turners new album would sound like if he listened exclusively to Queen for a year, and then asked Future Islands to perform the songs. You wouldn't be too far away from the sound of Fermanagh's Anto and The Echoes, an Alternative Rock act known for their incendiary live shows and eclectic song writing. Drawing influence old-school hard-hitting rock anthems and tempering them slightly with flavours of modern Indie Synth-Pop, the music is cathartic yet heartening, melancholic yet uplifting, and underlined by a pop sensibility.
