Alder are a three piece rock band composed of Jack McCann (Drums and Vocals), Ciaran Conway (Bass) and Conor Conway (Guitar and Vocals). Alder started out as a side project for Jack and Conor in 2014. They would meet up during school lunch time to try write songs and record ideas. Soon enough they had built up quite a lot of material that required a third member to be able to perform live. Ciaran played bass so he was the first person asked to join. He was exactly what Alder needed and immediately got to work on what was going to be their first EP, Motions.
